Launched in partnership with Washoe County in 2023, OTIS is a groundbreaking program that provides immediate access to treatment for individuals affected by the fentanyl crisis. Our team of nurses and Peer Recovery Support Specialists walk alongside you through the crucial first 30 days, helping you build consistency, confidence, and hope.
The first days of treatment are often the most challenging. Many people who begin opioid recovery struggle with withdrawal, medication side effects, or a lack of immediate support, which can lead to early dropout. OTIS was designed to remove these barriers by offering same-day access to treatment and pairing clients with dedicated peer and nursing support.
Unlike traditional approaches, OTIS specifically addresses the fentanyl crisis in Washoe County. By focusing on rapid engagement, compassionate care, and intensive follow-up, the program gives individuals the best chance to stabilize quickly and remain committed to their recovery plan.
With OTIS, clients don’t have to navigate those early days alone. Instead, they receive consistent encouragement, medical oversight, and real-world strategies for success during a critical time when support matters most.
